Oxford Dragway is pleased to announce the addition of the IHRA Teen Championship Racing series to our program for the 2008 season. This program provides teens ages 13 to 17 the opportunity to participate in drag racing with full sized vehicles with an approved co-driver. |
Teens may take part in this class until they receive the Maine State Driver's license. Vehicles are limited to street legal & inspected cars, trucks, and SUVs. No racing modifications are allowed. Motorcycles and snowmobiles are also not allowed for use in this program. All TCR participants are limited to an 10.00 second time cutoff for this program. This program gives teen racers the opportunity to actually compete in a well controlled safe environment. Certain release forms, a TCR license, and other requirements must be met prior to actual competition. Please CONTACT US for more informaiton on this new and exciting program. |
