Wheelstands? Did someone say wheelstands? If so, then they must have seen the Modified class running at Oxford Dragway recently. These machines are similar to our Super Pro, except they do not use any electronics to contraol their launch. It is foot on the brake, and WHAM!!! |
The modifed division is made of vehicles ranging from classis muscle cars to newer style vehicles you would only expect to see at a local dealership. The combination of such different types of vehicles, along with the HUGE engines most of the machines have, makes for some very exciting, wheelstanding showdowns! Our Modified division runs on Saturdays throughout the race season. Be sure to check the Schedule for specific race dates and stop in to see some true drag racing in action. |
